# Quaaloops Calculation Guide

## Quaaloops Calculation Guide

### Core Principles

Quaaloops are LoopFi's points system used during the Pool Points Party. The calculation follows these key principles:

* **Base Rate**: 1 Quaaloop per hour per ETH
* **Asset-Specific Rates**: Values for non-ETH assets are derived from their ETH-denominated price
* **Multipliers**: Applied based on action type to incentivize desired protocol behaviors

### Standard Calculation

```
Quaaloops = Amount × Base Rate × Time Period × Action Multiplier
```

### Action-Based Multipliers

| Action             | Multiplier       |
| ------------------ | ---------------- |
| Holding lpAsset    | 2x               |
| Staking lpAsset    | 1x               |
| Locking lpAsset    | 5x               |
| LP-lpAsset         | 10x              |
| Looping Collateral | 1x x Loop Factor |

### Non-ETH Asset Calculation

For assets like BNB, weETH, or other collateral:

```
Rate = (Asset Price in ETH) × Base Rate
```

For example, if BNB is worth 0.15 ETH:

```
BNB Hourly Rate = 0.15 × 1 quaaloop = 0.15 quaaloops per hour
```

### Referral Program

Referrers earn 20% of the Quaaloops generated by their referees.

### Additional Bonuses

* Turtle Club membership: +51% points on all actions
* Lock dLP: 3x points (Post TGE)

### Important Notes

* Points conversion to $LOOP tokens occurs at TGE (7% of total LOOP supply allocated)
* Points accumulation is calculated hourly and distributed in real-time
